Amandarae,
I got a pair of 604E's and would love to build something yours. Would you mind sharing the dimensions of the baffle and lean angle? 3/4" plywood?
I am thinking of redoing the crossover per Jeff Markwart's idea of compensating for phase lag between the hf and lf horizontal centers.
I am in Fullerton, CA

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Hello wsjoe,
I am in Diamond Bar (91765). Here's the plan for the OB's taken from Joseph Esmilla's (JE Labs) site...

Oviously, the cut out for the drivers should be 14 1/8" diameter with driver mounting holes along a 15" circumference but the center of the driver, no matter what size you use,to the bottom of the baffle should retain the 13" distance.
Also, one thing you have to remember is that the 8" x 6" plate installed should be parallel to the floor when the OB is standing (as what BugC mentioned in his post above)so you need to have 10 degrees cut on the side that mates to the baffle.
regards,
Abe

Hi wsjoe!
You could try hardwood floorboards for your OB. I had a pair made of Tanguile floorboards and is now with a friend who is using it with his altec 414Z. The sound is now more dynamic and the bass tighter compared to the sound when he was still using a 3/4" plywood.
Cheers!
